Honour?

I was shot in the foot yesterday. An old school mate said that his company would like to work together in a project. The initial arrangement is that we would be fronting it, though later I was told his sister company gave out quotes to customers. When I asked, he first denied it and when I pressed asking about his other company, he concedes he has no control over them. What rubbish and crap. Is there no more honour or respect? The end justify the means? Anything goes? or is it about me only?
