Finally, i reached to the Hong Kong Stadium.. we arrived early to ensure we are able to watch the ABs warm up. Bought a couple of tshirts and some caps to bring back home. Our seats were at section 14, row 31 and no 1,2,3. it was a pretty good seat considering the better ones has been snapped up by the tour agents.we managed to slip nearer to the touch line to watch the ABs warm up and snapped up some pictures. After the warm up we went back to our seats and waited for the kick off. After the national anthems of both Aussies and NZ.. the ABs were lining up in front of the touch line for the haka. this time they are using the Kamate.. instead of the brutal Kappa o Panggo.. the Haka really sent shivers to my spine.. it was awesome..
The wallables took the lead at half time... the AB supporters were not worried at all, and we were right just less than a minute the second half started, ABs struck back through the strong running of Ice to create the try for Siti. As the game wore on AB were putting preasure on the wallables.. McCaw scored the winning try from a fantastice pick up from an awful pass... the rest is history.
The crowd was around 39,000 in the stadium...
We sat some a couple of scottish guys who are working in Kuala Lumpur, they were rooting for the ABS.
maybe.. just maybe the next trip is to NZ 2011 RWC.... just maybe..
